What really makes an individual decide a child's future? and who ever said that a kid wants to commit to the world to be the next prophet. It is difficult for me to really say if the life of a monk is worth the sacrifice they have to make. These man dedicate themselves to nothing but a life full of beauty meaning they do not sinned, have no sex or wear any regular clothing's. These man are sent to the monasteries since they are littler really because their parents can't support them. I have two different opinions one negative and one positive. the negative is that why as a parent you would want to steal the innocence and youth of a child. See when this kid is chosen to be the next "Dalai Lama" the chosen child is at risk for any bad thing like kidnap and even murdered. like the kid in the "Dalia Lama" documentary. That child was killed by the government. Then they found their own littler prophet. It is all a conspiracy. the positive of this is that if as a parent you can't provide or if you live in a bad environment is OK to sent your kid of the Monastery. The at least they have food, roof, friends, eduction, they have a mentor and a good learning experience.
The price this poor guys pay is a high one, they've been attacked by the military and badly beaten for no reason. And what makes it worse is the fact that they don't fight back, because it against their principles. Is this a good thing? Why and for Who?
